Active Learning & Outdoor Education
We believe in the power of movement, teamwork, and nature to enrich learning experiences. Our programme includes the Football ASDAN Short Course, as well as tennis, basketball, and hiking, ensuring learners engage in physical activity that builds confidence, coordination, and social skills. Beyond sports, we integrate hands-on learning through our own allotment, where students participate in the ASDAN Gardening Short Course. This gives them the opportunity to connect with nature, develop practical horticultural skills, and experience the satisfaction of growing their own produce.
By encouraging outdoor activities, we create a dynamic and engaging environment where learners thrive physically, mentally, and socially.
Animal Care & Our School Dog, Loki
Our animal care programme, built around a collection of AQA Unit Awards, helps learners develop essential skills in pet care and animal welfare.
A special part of this experience is Loki, our sweet-natured Cockapoo, who visits weekly. She provides companionship and emotional support while also helping students learn how to treat animals with kindness and responsibility.
